FAQs
I'VE NEVER BEEN TO CHURCH BEFORE - WHAT WILL IT BE LIKE?
We know that for many visiting a church can be a leap into the unknown. If you would like to come and see what's going on but are not sure what to expect we would love to introduce you to a friendly face before the Sunday gathering. Just get in touch, we'll grab a coffee and answer any questions you have!
DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING?
Nope - we have fresh coffee and pastries, Bibles (and recommendations for free Bible apps), toys for the little ones...just bring yourself!
WHERE CAN I PARK?
The community centre has a car park and we encourage everyone who drives to use it, however sometimes you may need to park in the surrounding estate. Please respect our neighbours and avoid parking across driveways and dropped kerbs.
DO I HAVE TO PAY ANYTHING?
No.
There is an opportunity on Sunday mornings for people to contribute to the running costs of STB (like the hire of the community hall) but it is completely voluntary.
DO YOU HAVE WHEELCHAIR ACCESS?
The community centre is completely accessible for wheelchair users.
I WANT TO BRING MY BABY/TODDLER...THEY MAKE QUITE A BIT OF NOISE....
We love little ones and the joy that they bring. We also understand the organisation and dedication it takes to get out of the house! That's why at STB Church we are set up for our smallest of visitors. We have baby changing facilitates, access to a microwave, a good selection of baby toys plus we're buggy and scooter friendly. There are loads of other families with small children so come as you are and don't worry at all if your little one makes a noise! We'll all be making noise!
